Awana Program
Awana is a nondenominational ministry during the school year for children ages 3 & 4 and in grades kindergarten through sixth. Kids love Awana because it's fun, but parents love the program, too--because it teaches boys and girls about God, the Bible, and other life-enriching lessons.
Awana is held at Highland Park every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 7:45 p.m. during the school year. We would love to have your child join us!

Awana Club meetings are briming with fun from start to finish! Each one consists of three segments:
Game Time: Every club meeting has a high-energy game time featuring individual and team competition. Game Time unleashes kids' natural energy and enthusiasm. The Awana Game Circle has universal appeal!
Handbook Time: Using achievement oriented curriculum materials, Awana emphasizes memorization and understanding of key Bible verses. With a trained leader alongside to encourage and guide, clubbers develop a Bible-based view of how to know and serve God. They are rewarded for their achievements as they progress through their books.
Council Time: The whole club gathers for a time of singing and hearing a Bible message directly from God's Word.
