Our Mission & Purpose

We will gladly reflect the glory of God by teaching the Word of God in the context of loving relationships, reaching spiritually interested people for Jesus Christ, challenging them to become loving disciples.

Our highest desire at Highland Park is “Exalt Jesus Christ and “Love One Another.” This is based on the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:18-20. We will do so by…

• Multiplying Disciples
  We will pray and strive to become the first county in the twenty-first century within the United States with a conversion growth exceeding population growth.


• Training Disciples
  We will build a training regiment that is Word-centered and theologically-focused that builds both life and ministry skill.


• Sending Disciples
  We will obey Jesus’ command to take the gospel to the “ends of the earth.” We will follow God’s strategy to teach those who will teach others. We will do so by training and sending them to the community, to the surrounding town, to the region, to the ends of the earth!
