Point Man

What is a Point Man? The analogy is taken from the Vietnam War - During a military patrol or infantry operation, the point man walks several meters out in front of everyone else. His purpose is to serve as the eyes and ears for the unit through suspected enemy territory. He seeks out likely enemy ambush sites, booby traps and anything else that would endanger or entrap his trailing companions.

Today, YOU are that point man whether you are currently leading a family or someday will be. Men, we are called to be on the spiritual alert because the enemy is out there waiting to devour you, your marriage, your kids, your church:

1 Peter 5:8 "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour."

So the question is what are you doing to stay alert? Are you firmly rooted in God's Word? Do you have an accountability partner? Where is your prayer life?

Are you leading your family spiritually as well as financially and emotionally? What is your next step, soldier? It is time to take up your cross and follow our Commander and Chief, Jesus Christ.

To point men to the Commander and Chief, Jesus Christ, by challenging them to active duty, not merely hearers of the Word but doers of the Word, who glorify God by leaving a legacy of stronger families anchored in Christ Jesus.

James 1:22 "But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves."

Our Goals:

Reach Men For Jesus Christ.

We will focus on reaching men with the life changing message of Jesus Christ so that they can be empowered to be the spiritual leaders of the home that God has designed and destined them to be.

Educate and Inform

We are dedicated to teaching the Word of God to husbands and fathers, and those who want to be, so that they can lead their families, not only financially, but emotionally and spiritually as well.

Encourage and Strengthen

By practicing the "one-another's" in Scripture; praying for one another, studying with one another, challenging one another, sharing with one another, and by investing our lives in one another through accountability groups, not only will men be strengthened but their homes, the church, and the nation.

Motivate

We will motivate men using the Word of God, the greatest motivation tool ever created, as we view what God has to say about; being spiritual leaders in our homes, living lives of holiness, and giving glory to God in all that we do.

Within the Point Man Ministry, you will learn how to:
